
The mission of The Children's Advocacy Center of Cleveland County, Inc. is to coordinate a collaborative multi-disciplinary approach to investigating child abuse cases in Cleveland County, North Carolina.
Cases are referred by law enforcement and by the Department of Social Services to the CAC, where clients (child victims of physical and sexual abuse) receive interview and medical services in a child friendly, safe location. Therapy referrals are also offered to the client and their non-offending family members.
The Children's Advocacy Center of Cleveland County, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization, accredited by the National Children's Alliance, member of the Children's Advocacy Centers of North Carolina, and proud to be an agency of the United Way of Cleveland County.
