CAPS : Child Abuse Prevention Service

The CAC administers an educational outreach program called CAPS,  Child Abuse Prevention Service.  This is a video-based, age-appropriate personal safety program presented to all kindergarten, 1st, 3rd and 5th grade students in the Cleveland County School System. With the use of educational videos and classroom discussions, the students are taught to "say no," "get away," and "tell a trusted adult" if anyone ever tries to hurt them,  scare them, or touch them in a way that makes them feel uncomfortable.
